UxV/35 Sturnus Munition Applique (Dropper UAS)

  • The Sturnus UAS system utilizes the common Kairos Autonomi UxV/35 flight stack installed into a Kydex frame with a payload dropper integrated into the bottom of the airframe.

  • Used to perform payload delivery missions, affect adjudicatable training maneuvers, and enable tactical autonomous mission training.

  • ~2km flight range (battery and payload dependent) with the ability to load up to 8 lbs (4 lbs/bay) into the two bottom payload dropper bays.

  • Modular design and construction enables the Sturnus to be easily repaired in the field or modified with optional UxV/35 modules to fit a wide array of mission requirements.

  • Can be configured/reconfigured using open-source flight software, such as MissionPlanner.
